Hotel Tides strives to ensure that its facility is accessible to people with disabilities. Over the years, we have made improvements to make it more accessible, with the strong belief that every guest is treated with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.

While we have taken careful measure to ensure an excellent guest experience, our building was constructed in the late 1800's and is only partially accessible. To prepare for your visit, please note the following:

Parking and Entrance:

  • We do not have a dedicated parking lot. However, there is street parking available with corner curb cutouts.

  • There are six steps to enter the building.

First Floor:

  • Accessible route from the public entrance to the registration area.

  • The registration desk is 42 inches high. If a guest is unable to use the registration desk, hotel staff will happily assist the guest elsewhere in the lobby.

  • Lobby bathrooms feature accessible sinks, mobility accessible doors with 36 inches of clear door width and grab bars.

  • Strobe light alarms.

  • No guest rooms are available on the first floor.

Other Floors:

  • The hotel consists of three floors. Unfortunately, no elevator is available.

  • Accessible room available on the third floor that includes two full size beds, a larger bathroom with grab bars and a detachable shower head.

  • Guest room televisions have closed captioning.

  • Strobe light alarms.

Service animals are welcome at the hotel with proper documentation.  Therapy animals are allowed in guest rooms with proper documentation, but in accordance with board of health regulations are not allowed in areas were food is served including the lobby/bar, restaurant and pool areas.

We understand that the age of our building may cause restrictions to your visit. If our amenities do not accommodate your disability, our staff would be happy to facilitate contact information for another hotel in our town. If there is anything our staff can do to provide you with assistance or additional information prior to visiting, please don't hesitate to call.
